Abstract

Alternaria alternata exhibited average least number as well as size of spots on leaves of almost all the four Brassica species, when it was individually inoculated. While on combined inoculation with A. brassicae, number of spots were recorded significantly increased on waxy and non-waxy surfaces of leaves of Brassica alba and B. carinata and non-significantly increased on B.napus and B. juncea. Similarly, spots size was measured with significantly increased on waxy and non-waxy leaves of B.alba and B.juncea and non-waxy surfaces of B. carinata and non significantly on waxy and non-waxy surfaces of leaves of B. napus on combined inoculation with A. raphani and A. brassicae.
