Abstract

Four foliar applications were given and in the treatment with lambda cyhalothrin 5 EC @ 25 g a.i./ha, the % leaf damage was low ranged from (0.50 to 7.40%) followed by spinosad 45 SC @ 33.75 g a.i./ha (0.65 to 8.9%) and superior than the other treatments. All the treatments were superior compared to the untreated check which recorded highest % leaf damage (6.8 to 15.0%) in field trial I. In another field trial II, the treatment with lambda cyhalothrin 5 EC @ 25 g a.i./ha, the % leaf damage ranged from (1.4 to 5.8%) followed by spinosad 45 SC @ 33.75 g a.i./ha (2.2 to 6.4%) and superior than the other treatments.
