Abstract

A field trial was conducted to evaluate the botanicals against viral disease of Elephant foot yam. All the botanicals were found significantly superior over control. However, root extract of Boerhaavia diffusa six sprays was found most effective botanicals since sprouting at 15 days interval gave maximum reduction in disease (85.7%) along with plant attributing characters and yield followed by Clerodendrum aculeatum and Cuscuta reflexa spray.
