Abstract

The maximum disease severity (76.6%) was recorded in sole crop of potato (Kufri Jawahar) and no disease was recorded in Kufri Chipsona sole crop. Intercropped plots of potato (Kufri Jawahar) + Mustard (Divya) showed less disease severity (4.8%) followed by potato (Kufri Jawahar) + garlic (5.7%) and no disease was recorded in Kufri Chipsona + Divya intercropped plot while sole potato (Kufri Jawahar) showed maximum disease severity (76.6%). Intercropping of potato with mustard and garlic had advantage over sole potato, mustard and garlic. The maximum total productivity in terms of tuber equivalent yield, was recorded in potato (Kufri Chipsona) + Divya i.e. 300.89 q/ha which was significantly superior over other treatments. Maximum net returns (` 75, 735.5/ha) was recorded in potato (Kufri Chipsona) + Divya due to maximum land equivalent ratio (2.09), it was significantly superior.
