Various botanicals exhibited stimulatory action with regards to seed germination when compared to the control. Among the leaf extracts, maximum effect was attained by Azadirachta indica, similarly, seed treatment with A. indica showed highest germination, lowest damping-off disease incidence of Pythium aphanidermatum.
