All insecticides was effective in reducing jassids and thrips population on groundnut and imidacloprid 0.003% and dimethoate 0.04% exhibited highest efficacy. Among the insecticidal treatments tested in field, imidacloprid showed significantly superior in controlling jassids and thrips population and thereby, reduction in leaf damage and increasing in yield. Highest incremental cost benefit ratio 1: 16.52 was observed in imidacloprid followed by dimethoate (1: 12.75) treatments.
