Abstract

Studies on assessment of losses in soybean due to green semilooper, Chrysodeixis acuta revealed pod damage up to 12.3% and 46.3% and grain yield losses up to 10.17q/ha and 10.81 q/ha at 60 day and 80 day old crops, respectively at the level of 12 larvae/mrl as compared to that at zero larva. The economic threshold level of the pest was 2 larvae and less than 2 larvae/mrl at 60 day and 80 day old crop, respectively, whereas the economic injury level was 4 larvae/mrl.
