Department of Agril Entomology, Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth, Rahuri-413 722, India

Abstract

All pesticide treatments were significantly effective in minimizing the infestation of fruit borer. Minimum fruit damage of 5.0 and 5.1% on number and weight basis was recorded in rynaxypyr 20 SC @ 0.4 ml lit−1 treatment followed by flubendiamide 480 SC @ 0.25 ml lit−1 (6.0 & 6.2%), spinosad 45 SC @ 0.2 ml lit−1 (7.2 & 7.3%), emamectin benzoate 5 SG @ 0.25 g lit−1 (8.5 & 8.7%), indoxacarb 14.5 SC @ 0.3 ml lit−1 (9.3 & 9.5%), azadirachtin 10, 000 ppm @ 1 ml lit−1 (17.8 & 18.0%) and NSKE 5% @ 50 g lit−1 (22.7 & 22.7%) on number and weight basis, respectively. The pooled mean yield of both the years recorded that rynaxypyr 20 SC @ 0.4 ml lit−1 produced 12.35 t ha−1 fruits followed by flubendiamide 480 SC @ 0.25 ml lit−1 (11.69 t ha−1) against untreated control (6.75 t ha−1).
