The effectiveness of five fungicides was tested against Choanephora cucurbitarum in vitro and in vivo conditions. In vitro conditions, antracol and companion were found significantly superior in complete inhibition of mycelial growth of fungus at 700 ppm followed by moximate. Among three methods of fungicides application, seed coating cum drenching method was found effective in reducing disease incidence. Antracol was found most effective in reducing disease incidence (75.0%) followed by moximate (58.3%) on cucumber.
