Mancozeb 50% WP @ 0.1% was effective in the inhibition of mycelial growth (54.3%). Among the bio-agents, Trichoderma viride with inhibition (49.6%) and the plant extract, neem oil @ 2% was found effective in the inhibition of mycelial growth (46.2%) followed by ashok leaf extract @ 15% with inhibition (34.1%), tulsi leaf extract @ 5% with inhibition (31.0%) in bel leaf extract @ 5% with inhibition (34%). The effective plant extracts, biocontrol agent and fungicide found effective in vitro were tested against the anthracnose of green gram in field conditions. Among all of treatments, mancozeb was found effective in the disease reduction (42%), followed by T. viride @ 2% with (35%). Neem oil was found effective in disease reduction (29.0%) followed by ashok leaf extract (23.6%), tulsi leaf extract (23.4%) and bel leaf extract (12.6%).
