Managing Meloidogyne incognita on Cucumber through bio-agents and organic amendments in Field

Antagonistic fungal bio-agent, Trichoderma harzianum @ 30 kg talc formulation/ha and two organic amendments viz., neem cake (@ 1000 kg/ha) and rice husk ash (@ 30 g/plant) was evaluated against M. incognita alone and in combination. Results of the trial revealed that combined application of T. harzianum @ 30 kg talc formulation/ha + neem cake @ 1000 kg/ha + rice husk ash @ 30 g/plant increased the growth parameters and reduced number of galls/root system, number of eggmasses/root system, number of eggs/eggmasses/root system and final nematode population and increased the yield.
