A field trial was conducted on a naturally infested field of root-knot nematode, Meloidogyne incognita to evaluate the efficacy of four commercially available bio-agents viz., Trichoderma harzianum, Pochonia chlamydosporia, Paecilomyces lilacinus and Bacillus subtilis against M. incognita. All the bio-agents were applied 15 days before sowing on the spots in the respective treatment plots. The results revealed that the treatment with Trichoderma harzianum @ 30 kg talc formulation/ha was effective in reducing the root knot nematode infestation and increasing plant growth parameters and yield of cucumber.
