Succession of insect pests of Soybean in Bundelkhand Region

Abstract

Blue beetle (Cneorane sp.) and white fly (Bemicia tabaci), appeared in 2nd week of July at seedling stage and blue beetle disappeared in the last week of August but the activity of white fly continued up to 3rd week of September. Green semilooper appeared after 3rd week of July, whereas the appearance of stem fly and girdle beetle appeared in the first week of August and they continued infesting the crop up to maturity.
