The field trial consisting nine treatments viz., Fipronil 5% + Buprofezin 20EC, Indoxacarb 10% + Thiamethoxam 10WG, Cypermethrin 10% + Indoxacarb 10SE, Buprofezin 20WG, Indoxacarb 14.5SC, Thiamethoxam 25WG, Chlorpyriphos 20EC, Quinalphos 25EC and untreated control. The data revealed that all insecticidal treatments were significantly reduce the incidence of leaf damage than untreated control. The plot treated with Fipronil 5% + Buprofezin 20EC was recorded the lowest % of leaf damage 5.80% and 3.71% in first and second sprays, respectively followed by Indoxacarb 10% + Thiamethoxam 10WG (6.5% and 5.6%, respectively). The grain yield ranged from 2160 to 4120 kg/ha in all the treatments. The highest yield was recorded in Fipronil 5% + Buprofezin 20EC treated plot (4120 kg/ha) followed by Indoxacarb 10% + Thiamethoxam 10WG (3910 kg/ha).
