Anti-fungicidal activity of medicinal plants leaf extract to control seed mycoflora of urdbean (Vigna mungo L.)

Urdbean seeds had natural incidence of Aspergillus niger, A. fumigatus, A. flavus, Alternaria alternata, A. longissima, Botrytis cinerea and Colletotrichum dematium. All the medicinal plant leaf extracts reduced the incidence of the seed mycoflora and increased seed germination percentage. Inhibition of seed mycoflora incidence was highest in Allium sativum extracts and the lowest in extracts from Azadirachta indica.
