Abstract

The meteorological parameters like (temperature, rainfall and relative humidity) were correlated with Alternaria blight disease intensity. The weather data were compared with % Disease Index and prevailing weather conditions during peak disease intensity. It was observed that the average temperature, relative humidity with rainfall centered around 13–17oC and RH more than 70% with little rainfall were significantly associated with disease intensity.
