Abstract

The results of the two year trials indicated the distinct effect of cropping systems on prevailing nematode population in field soil. The cropping sequences viz. maize + radish, broccoli + radish, broccoli + kosala and groundnut + toria in Rabi after rice cultivation in Kharif indicated substantial declining of plant parasitic nematode population in the field soil among the different crop combinations.
