Evaluation of rice genotypes against rice leaf folder, Cnaphalocrosis medinelis Guenee in Koshi region of Bihar

The eleven different rice entries were screened out against the leaf folder of rice during kharif, 2022 at research farm, MBAC, Agwanpur, Saharsa. They were Sabour Ardhjal, Sabour Sampann, Rajendra Mahsuri (RM-1), Swarna Sub-1, Sita, Sabour Harshit Dhan, Rajendra Sweta (R.S), Rajendra Subhashni, Sabour Shree. Out of them, the Swarna Sub-1 fund is highly resistant (0.95% leaf damage). Remaining were found resistant except Farmer’s susceptible variety (26.48 % leaf damage)being scented and long duration variety, it was moderately susceptible against rice leaf folder.
