The experiment was conducted at the Central research farm (CRF), Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture, Technology and Sciences, Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh during the kharif season of 2022-2023. The experiment was laid in Randomized Block Design with eight treatments each replicated thrice viz., Chlorantraniliprole 18.5SC (0.5 ml/l), Spinosad 45 SC (0.4ml/l), Nisco sixer plus (2 ml/l), Bacillus thuringiensis 4% WSP (2 g/l), Beauveria bassiana 1.15% WP (5 g/l), Neem oil @ 2% (5ml/l), ½ dose Chlorantraniliprole + Nisco sixer plus (2.25 ml/l) and Control plot. The treatments were sprayed for 2 times on the gram pod borer having crossed their ETL levels at an interval of 15 days. The result revealed that the treatments (both insecticides and biopesticides) were successful in bringing down the pest infestation and superior over control. The result of the efficacy of the treatments on the first spray showed that among all the treatments highest larval reduction of green gram pod borer was recorded in Chlorantraniliprole 18.5 SC (0.889), Spinosad 45 SC (1.089), ½ dose Chlorantraniliprole + Nisco sixer plus (1.222), Nisco sixer plus (1.333), Beauveria bassiana 1.15% WP (1.400), Bacillus thuringiensis 4% WSP (1.467) and Neem oil @ 2% (1.756) is found to be least effective but comparatively superior over the control (3.289). According to the data of second spray revealed that all the treatments were significantly superior over control. Among all treatments, Chlorantraniliprole 18.5SC(0.311) followed by Spinosad 45 SC (0.467), ½ dose Chlorantraniliprole + Nisco sixer plus (0.600),Nisco sixer plus (0.711), Beauveria bassiana 1.15% WP (0.845), Bacillus thuringiensis 4% WSP (0.933) and Neem oil @ 2% (1.156) is found to be least effective but comparatively superior over the control (4.333).
