Abstract

This research comprises reports of the chromosome counts for 230 taxa of the Nepalese flora within the 7 families viz. Crassulaceae, Cyperaceae, Ranunculaceae, Rubiaceae, Saxifragaceae, Scrophulariaceae and Solanaceae. Present chromosome counts for 19 taxa of Ranunculaceae are also included here. Of these, count of Clematis montana is new record for Nepal.
