A comprehensive survey of the pteridophyte flora have been collected from Southern Western Ghat particularly from Ratnagiri, Sawanwadi, Malvan, Castlerock, Anmode, Molem and its environs. The habitat was examined with reference to terrestrial and other ecological parameters, such as habitat, ecology and fruiting season. The present data reveal a total of 12 species of pteridophytes.
