Voting is the most popular and effective way of political participation worldwide. Every adult citizen utilizes “voting” to express agreement or disagreement with political party platforms, government policies, programs, and decisions, as well as the qualifications of candidates. It is useful for making political leaders and parties accountable for their deeds. Voting confirms the people’s will and determines the country’s future. This paper finds certain similarities in the voting habits of South Asian countries, particularly among the three largest countries in terms of population: Bangladesh, India, and Pakistan, since they share a common history. Voting decisions in these countries are always influenced by party loyalty, money, caste, religion, muscle strength, family traditions, etc.
