Educational Transformation for Sustainable Development in India: Strengthening Foundation for Development

Good and quality education is the foundation for any development. The era of sustainable development demands some educational transformations as well to take society ahead towards the path of sustainability. There is a need for these reforms in India, for the world is continuously evolving, and so is our country, but no major changes in the nature of the educational setup have emerged even after many attempts. The questions about why educational transformation is needed, what kind of educational transformations are needed, and how these transformations can be implemented have been discussed and attempted to be answered in this paper. Under the part of these transformations, a special topic has been raised, which, if explored, is sure to bring great academic attention and thus, in turn, will undoubtedly raise the levels of the concept of sustainable development.
