Study of inbuilt activation functions of neural networks using matlab

This paper focuses on the important area of Artificial Neural Networks. It discusses about the biological neuron, architecture of neural network, types of neural network, steps included in development of artificial neural network. One of the main steps out of the given steps is Activation Function. This paper discusses the use of activation functions. This paper includes various inbuilt activation functions that are present in Neural Network toolbox. Graph for each Activation function is shown for better understanding. It also discusses the characteristics, advantages and applications of neural networks.
