The paper highlights Market structure and Philosophy of e-NAM entry in Agriculture Marketing in Andhra Pradesh. To an agriculturist ‘Market’ means sale of his produce and purchase of goods of his needs. Agricultural markets witnessed only limited reforms. They are characterized by inefficient physical operations exclusive crowding of intermediaries, fragmented market chains. Green revolution contributed for marketable surplus and in the process of marketing, rural people come closer to the urban life and due to “demonstrations effect”, the life style of rural people is fast changing. This scenario has undergone significant changes since the initiation of economic reforms in the country in 1991. External trade was further liberalized with the implementation of the World Trade Organisation (WTO) agreement on agriculture in 1995 and after India lost its case in WTO to retain Quantitative Restrictions (QRs) on the ground of balance of payments (BOP) problems. Trade option is to be superior compared to buffer stock in stabilizing prices under liberalized trade regime. The state has 191 Agricultural Market committees managing 324 market yards, which consists of 19 Members Viz. 12 Members from growers, 3 from Traders and the other 4 from representation of local bodies and Government Departments. The Market Committees collected Rs.492.39 crore in 2018–19 towards Market fee. Andhra Pradesh stood 1st place in terms of the total value of trade done on e-NAM, Market yard. Guntur stands at 1st position with total trade value of Rs. 6, 440 crore and also stood 1st place in terms of online payments made. Presently 43 No's of CCI centers are identified for procurement of cotton for the previous season. At present, 126 No's of Rhythu Bazars are functioning in the State. In addition to these more have been sanctioned during 2018–19, which are under progress. 20 Mobile Rhythu Bazars are functioning under “Farm 2 House Scheme”. In secret bidding, the business people, Tomatoes are purchasing, payment will be in digital method. Traders are must to take license, if not, they don't have right to do business. Government has removed commission, Auction Polices. Still lacunas are there, which are to be overcomed and make agriculture as ever profitable business. By active participation of farmers hope e-NAM can become from dwarfs to giants in future.
