Aims and Scope
Indian Journal of Agricultural Marketing (peer-reviewed journal) is to provide a forum for dissemination and exchange of original findings on various aspects of Agricultural Marketing which are of primal interest to all the functionaries in the field of marketing of different agricultural produce. It will also from time to time, contain articles summarising the existing state of knowledge in the field of marketing of agricultural products (based on crops, livestock, agroforestry, etc.)
We publish original research from all areas of agricultural marketing and agribusiness. It includes research on input and output marketing, marketing functions (packaging, processing, storage, market information, crop insurance, commodity futures training), agencies, institutions (including Farmer producer companies, cooperatives), channels (value-chains including contract farming, organized retail, regulated and private markets), post-harvest losses, marketing efficiency and costs, price spread and market integration, market infrastructure, Government interventions on agricultural marketing, external trade in agricultural products.

Indian Journal of Agricultural Marketing (IJAM) ethics and malpractice statement is based on the guidelines developed by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) for all parties involved in the act of publishing (the author(s), the journal editor(s), the peer reviewers, and the publisher). All parties will follow the expected ethical behavior upon standards developed by the COPE.
Manuscripts submitted to IJAM are evaluated entirely based on their content. There are no publication charges. All possible measures are taken to uphold the highest standards of publication ethics and to prevent malpractices.

Contribution to editorial decisions and other issues: Editorial decisions are based on peer review. The reviewers are expected to maintain absolute confidentiality about the contents of manuscripts. The reviews are to be conducted objectively and the referees are expected to express their views clearly with supporting reasons. Personal criticism of the author is inappropriate. The reviewers should have no conflict of interest with the authors and the subject matter of the research. The reviewers are required to identify relevant published work that has not been cited by the authors. Any observation or argument which has been previously reported should also be accompanied by the relevant citation. Similarities or overlaps between the manuscript under review and any other published paper of which the reviewer may have personal knowledge may also be brought to the attention of the editors. The information or ideas obtained through peer review are of a privileged nature and must be kept confidential and not used for personal advantage. Reviewers should not consider manuscripts in which they have conflicts of interest resulting from competitive, collaborative, or other relationships with any of the authors or institutions connected to the papers.

Indian Journal of Agricultural Marketing is to provide a forum for dissemination and exchange of original findings on various aspects of Agricultural Marketing which are of primal interest to all the functionaries in the field of marketing of different agricultural produce. It will also from time to time, contain articles summarising the existing state of knowledge in the field of marketing of agricultural products.
Indian Journal of Agricultural Marketing is a peer refereed journal, published thrice in a year, by Indian Society of Agricultural Marketing, Nagpur.
Manuscripts sent for the Journal should be accompanied by a declaration of the senior author stating that the same paper has not been published or under consideration elsewhere and responsibility for the statement whether of facts or opinion rests with writers thereof.
In clarity, brevity and conciseness, punctuation, spellings (U.K.), use of italics etc., the manuscript should conform to the best usage in leading journals. In case of data, reference to the source should be mentioned. The responsibility of copyediting the manuscripts lies with the contributors although the publisher will provide a final and light copyedit.
Manuscripts in duplicate should be typed in double space on one side of the bond paper, with sufficient margins. Journal papers should not normally exceed ten typed pages including tables and figures.
Names of the authors should not be accompanied by their degrees, titles, designations etc. No soft copies of the papers will be accepted at the initial stage.
Name and address of the author along with the title of the paper should be typed on a separate sheet and the manuscript should bear only the title of the paper and at no place the name or any identity of the author.
Each Journal paper should have a summary in 200 words, in the beginning. Drawings, graphs etc. should be in black and white. Each table should have a number hold followed by a concise heading.
The references to the literature cited in the text of the paper should only be given at the end of the paper in alphabetical order under the heading REFERENCES.
Author should uniformly follow the reference citations strictly in accordance to the examples given under:

All Journal papers will be referred in anonymity. The comments of the referee should be complied by the authors within two months time beyond which the papers will be removed from the files of the Society.
Final version of the Journal papers duly revised should be submitted both in electronic form (soft copies) and two hard copies.
