Bioinformatics is use of computer applications to develop biological applications by designing suitable tools which could be very useful to scientific community. Leguminosae family is one of the largest families that contain thousands of species of Plants, Herbs, Shrubs and Trees worldwide. There are more than 250 species of this family which are found in Gujarat state. There are three subfamilies of Leguminosae family which are Fabaceae (Papilionaceae), Caesalpiniaceae and Mimosaeae. Here we have created one tool which would be useful for many people to get information of species at one click. User will get information which includes Scientific name, Description, Taxonomic classification, Locality in Gujarat state, It's local name (in Gujarati language), Details of Fruit & Flower, Uses and Pictures. Authors have developed this tool in such a manner that user having basic knowledge of computer could use this tool very easily and get respective choice of species very quickly.
