Towards self reliance: Technology development for Coconut, Cocoa, and arecanut

Plantation crops are some of the most important perennial crops which form an integral pert of sustainable agriculture system. The cropping systems involving these crops play important role is carbon sequestration at the same time increasing the farmers income. The various research achievements in three of the plantation crops viz, coconut, cocoa, and arecanut and the technologies developed for sustainable and profitable cropping systems for increased production, processing, marketing and export.
