Aims and Scope
International Journal of Innovative Horticulture (IJIH) is a publication of Confederation of Horticulture Associations of India (CHAI) publishing innovative research articles related to horticulture and allied branches.
The prime objective of IJIH is communication of mission oriented fundamental research to other researchers, professional horticulturists, practitioners, educators, students and various stakeholders and to promote and encourage the interaction and exchange of ideas among them.
CHAI, established in the year 2010, is commited to the furtherance of horticulture research, education and development, through bringing organizations and individuals to work together, to achieve its goal of technology led development for addressing the global and national concerns. Since, its inception, the Confederation has collaborated and supported in organization of national and international conferences. The Confederation has instituted various awards to recognize the services of individuals and institutions, which includes, Honoured Fellow, Honorary Fellow, Lifetime Achievement Award, Life Time Achievement Award, Life Time Recognition Award, Dr. R.S. Paroda Award, Dr. B.H. Jain Award, Ramnandan Babu Award, Appreciation Award, JISL Fellow, Dr Ray Best Dissertation Award and Best Paper Award, which are conferred annually on 28th May every year. CHAI offers various categories of Members/Fellowship, namely Fellow of CHAI, Institutional Fellow, Corporate Fellow and Association Fellow.

Ethical Policy
IJIH provides an equal opportunity to all researchers from across the world to publish their original research paper or review paper or all other forms of publication in this peer reviewed journal of high quality without making any payment either for becoming annual or life member or any printing cost provided the quality of research paper has been accepted after rigorous peer review procedure.
Authors are advised that their manuscripts must be reviewed by two of their colleagues and revised appropriately, with the names of the reviewers included on the manuscript submission form if they are willing. Manuscripts must be in IJIH style to be considered for publication. Submitted manuscripts that do not conform to standards will be returned to authors for correction. Manuscripts submitted for publication are reviewed by Editors who solicits at least two additional peer reviews. The purpose of the reviews is to assure readers that competent, independent professionals have found the published papers acceptable. Some revision is usually necessary after the reviews, and final acceptance generally depends on satisfactory revision. A manuscript will be considered withdrawn if the author will not respond within 2 months to a request for revision.
Plagiarism of Article(s)
After submission of each research paper for publication in IJIH, managing editor/Editor in Chief will send the paper to anyone of the member of editorial board based on the expertise and relevance of the paper and general comments about its prior publication or information about any similar paper is asked and they used to suggest two or more reviewer for that paper. For each manuscript reviewer is asked to provide a clear and definite answer to the following questions:
1.Has any material in this article been published previously? If so, please supply details to the editor.
Authors are required to submit a certificate about originality of research paper and no prior publication / partial publication of data has containing in the research paper at the time of acceptance of the paper before its publication.
In case of any information or complaint of any kind of plagiarism in the journal it will be immediately removed from the website and information will be published in the next issue of the journal.

Guidelines To Authors
International Journal of Innovative Horticulture (IJIH), a publication of Confederation of Horticulture Associations of India (CHAI) is an International journal publishing innovative research related to horticulture and allied branches.
The articles for publication will include papers that report novel data with a scientific and/or practical importance from all the disciplines of agriculture if they contain information on direct significance to horticulture. The journal covers the disciplines like plant genetic resources, crop improvement, genetics and breeding, biotechnology, micro-propagation, bioinformatics, nanotechnology, production system management, plant health management, physiology, biochemistry, management of biotic and abiotic stresses, nutrition of horticultural crops, soil sciences, pathology, pest and disease management, environmental sciences, horticulture for health and nutrition, horticulture for livelihood security, microbiology, water management, mechanization, policy, economics, statistics, extension research, impact of climate change, emerging technologies on horticulture, importance of horticultural research and innovation for development, post harvest technology and value addition, marketing and value chain management, with focus on horticultural crops viz. fruits, vegetables, flowers, plantation crops, spices, tuber crops, mushroom, apiculture, medicinal and aromatic crops, landscape etc.
The journal will be published bi-annually which will be converted into quarterly publication in the years to come.

The International Journal of Innovative Horticulture (IJIH) will not publish any information that is already in the public domain in a scientific context. The work that is described in the paper should not have been published before and is not under consideration for publication anywhere else. Only SI units and abbreviations should be used. Normal and Molar concentrations should be written Nand M, respectively. The following standard abbreviations should be used: mg, kg, km, cm, m, rpm, s (second), h (hour), min, L(litre). ml, kg per ha or kg/ha. Latin biological names should be italicized.

Acceptance of manuscript for publication in International Journal of Innovative Horticulture (IJIH) shall automatically mean transfer of copyright to Confederation of Horticulture Associations of India (CHAI). CHAI retains copyright for all its publications. Permission to reprint, republishes, or reproduce individual contributions or parts of contributions must be obtained from CHAI in writing. In addition, CHAI requires that credit should be given by indicating the volume number, pagination and date of publication.
