Abstract

The field experiment was carried out in 10- years- old Nagpur mandarin (Citrus reticulata Blanco) with five fertigation treatments viz., 85, 100, 115, 130 and 145 % of recommended dose of NPK fertilizers tested inrandomized blockdesign. Leaf nutrient such as nitrogen (2.59 %), phosphorus (0.17%), potassium (1.54%) and sulphur (0.13%) were observed higher in the treatment involving fertigation with 145 % of RDF. While , micronutrients such as iron (78.05 mg kg-1), zinc (17.93 mg kg-1), manganese (64.28 mg kg-1) and copper (13.80 mg kg-1) were higher in fertigation with 145% of RDF. The higher available nitrogen (231.63 kg ha-1), available phosphorus (18.39 kg ha-1), available potassium (419.37 kg ha-1) and available sulphur (13.50 mg kg-1) recorded in treatment carrying fertigation with 145 % of RDF. The plant available micronutrients such as Fe, Zn, Mn and Cu likewise showed higher in treatment using fertigation with 145% of RDF (4.67 mg kg-1), (0.63 mg kg-1), (9.79 mg kg-1) and (1.38 mg kg-1) respectively. These observations showed the conventional dose of RDF needs to be revised as per method of nutrients delivery.
