Validation of fertilizer prescription equation of banana in Inceptisol

Abstract

A field experiment on validation of fertilizer prescription equation of Banana in Inceptisol was conducted at STCR (Soil Test Crop Response) research farm. The eight treatment consist of absolute control, general recommended dose of fertilizer (GRDF). As per soil test, treatment with fertilizer prescription equation for 110 and 120 t/ha yield target with 10 t/ha FYM and without FYM and only FYM (10 kg/plant) application were replicated thrice. The fertilizer application as STCR yield target 120 t/ha + 10 t/ha FYM recorded the highest banana yield and nutrientuptake. Thebanana yield revealed that the fertilizer application as per STCr yield target 110 and 120 t/ha with 10 t/ha FYM was achieved. This confirms the validation of fertilizer precription equation of banan in inceptisol.
