Abstract

A field experiment was carried out during kharif, rabi 2014–15 at Jain Hills Jalgaon, Maharashtra to study the combined effect of irrigation and fertigation management on growth and yield of turmeric. The experiment was laid out in split plot design with five main treatments and four sub treatments. The main treatments were irrigation scheduling while subtreatments were fertigation of nitrogen and potassium. The results revealed that plant height, number of tillers plant−1 was recorded significantly higher with drip irrigation at 100% epan with 100% nitrogen and potassium fertigation. This treatment also resulted in significantly higher the fresh and dry rhizome yield ha−1.
