The pandemic, COVID-19 has forced students to rethink their choice of pursuing their higher education abroad. Due to current situation, 61% of students have chosen to postpone the plan of doing their higher education now in abroad, says survey by Quacquarelli Symonds. Apart from that around 7% have cancelled their entire plan while only 8% are pursuing in this situation against all odds. When this is the major part of disadvantage in abroad education, on other end students who wish to do Semester Abroad Program (SAP) has completely abandoned their plan. At least higher education can be postponed but SAP can be because it is an option for students studying now and they will never get this opportunity again. This research is done to find out all odds and propose an idea in which every student even in this situation can pursue their abroad education either be entire degree or SAP. In this conundrum of impact in international education for Indians, we believe that there should be relaxation till end of this COVID-19 pandemic for students to pursue from India itself, which will lead to avoiding overseas travel for education in this pandemic situation. Following this research, we have explained how this is possible and what all the benefits of this approach are in current scenario and how it will benefit not only education but also other areas for us. Every point we face a situation that leaves us in a crisis and that shouldn’t be reason for stopping growth. Likewise, COVID-19 is another crisis and as big the threat it is there are opportunities too for us, like how everything turned digital which wasn’t expected to happen sooner before COVID-19 and this even is one example enough to prove any crisis we as India can come back very strong than ever.
