Abstract

The purpose of this study is to provide a bibliometric analysis of the research on commerce education in the digital era. Using the Scopus database, this study analyses a total of 134 papers published from the year 1998 to 2022. The information about these papers is provided on the basis of significant journals, publication years, maximum cited papers, important authors and the most prolific countries. Then, the co-authorship network map and keyword co-occurrences network maps are provided by using the VOS viewer software. The results of this study indicate that in the year 2019, the maximum papers have been published; the most significant journal is ‘Commerce education’. The co-occurrence analysis highlights that social media, business education, data mining, artificial intelligence, education, social networking (online), management education in the field of commerce education having maximum occurrence.
