Abstract

Politics is omnipresent in the private and public spheres of organizations, religions, schools, colleges, universities, hospitals, and private and public entities. Every individual can undoubtedly feel the political checkmate issue in their daily workplace. Literature on workplace politics has mainly shown the political problem as a point of consideration. Researchers see an interesting factor in workplace politics: not all situations involve negative aspects, as there might be only a little occurring that can, at the same time, be beneficial. They added that office politics can also be good helpers in terms of their negative influence and thereby bring a broader vision. The proposed research is a qualitative approach, mainly based on secondary data such as literature written between 1990 and 2021, research journals, and other scientific references published in that span of years, focusing on work politics consequent indicators among the links to political behavior. The study, too, brought forward such points as how politics within organizations, the source of negative factors, could be not only detrimental but also the cause of beneficial outcomes.
