Student Engagement (SE) refers to students’ cognitive investment in their learning. It ensures their willingness to participate emotionally, behaviorally, and cognitively in the learning process. Emotional participation shows the feelings of students about their instructor, classroom, and sense of belonging. Behavioral participation represents their attentiveness in the classroom society, and finally, cognitive engagement shows their intrinsic motivation throughout the learning process (Korpershoek et al., 2020). So, student engagement is the extent to which students show attention, curiosity, optimism, and interest in the process of their learning. It has been found that SE improves students’ learning (SL). So, with the help of interpretivism, a qualitative research approach, this article tries to analyze the chemistry between student engagement and their learning.
