Abstract

This study is conducted to investigate subtle intricacies of attaining personal work–life balance by women, particularly the ones who were job holders within shopping malls located in Bareilly city region. Through a thorough literature review, empirical investigation, and aiming at analysing issues, approaches, and outcomes in this area, the major objective of this research is to shed light on the obstacles, ways, and results of how a professional assumes and harmoniously meets professional and personal demands in this setup. Qualitative research methods can play a significant role in a research study such as interviews, for instance, with 20 women and surveys involving 100 female participants, where data is analysed by means of frequency distribution in the case with quantitative data and content analysis for the qualitative data. The aim of this research is to provide useful knowledge about female retail workers to the academic society and practice to give managers and designers an idea on how to improve the workplace policy and support system.
