Electronic commerce, or “e-commerce,” is the term for an online marketplace and business strategy where goods can be purchased or sold. Business has been changed by e-commerce, which has altered the nature of competition with the internet, particularly in the computer communication network, and created an online marketplace for businesses and consumers in remote areas. Along with advancements in the network and web-based technologies, the gap between conventional market and the global digital marketplace also the length of capital for business enterprises among other factors is gradually closing, and India is witnessing enormous development in the e-commerce sector in the rural regions. The rapid growth of rural e-commerce is required. For many e-commerce users and aspiring business owners, the rural farming industry offers unrealized capacity to dominate the market. Since India became an independent nation, there has been no progress in expanding the rural-agricultural trade of commercial goods across its borders. Thus, it is necessary that business organizations and internet based businesses in rural regions expand as quickly as possible. The purpose of the research paper is to examine and evaluate the advancements made by e-commerce in Uttar Pradesh rural areas. The primary objective of this study is to examine the significance of electronic commerce in the rural economy.
