Abstract

It is a well accepted fact that in case of burns, septicemia remains the most important cause of death, once the shock phase is over. The present paper deeds with the issue of confirmation of clinical diagnosis of septicemia by bacteriological study at autopsy. Attempt is also made to find out any other associated cause by histopathological examination.
