Poisoning has become one of the commonest medical emergencies through out the world because thousands of pharmacological and chemical agents are commonly used and their number is going to increase every year. In this paper the practical limitations of forensic toxicologist are discussed and also the importance of proper collection, packaging and preservation of visceral samples.
