Abstract

Multivarient Discriminant function analysis method was used to find out the bisexual variations in the talus and calcaneum bones. Talus and Calcaneum bones of 50 males and 50 females were studied, five discriminant functions were generated. Stepwise and Direct Discriminant function analysis methods are used to find out the bisexual and bilateral variations in the talus and calcaneum bones and the accuracy achieved by these is greater than that of Univarient Discriminant function analysis method.
