Abstract

Now a days abrus precatorius toxicity is a rare event in India. It is more commonly used as cattle poison and by gold smiths to weigh gold in rural India. Here, a case of accidental ingestion of abrus precatorius in a young boy is presented along with a brief description about the management and literature review regarding abrus precatorius poisoning.
