Coronary artery disease (atherosclerotic heart disease) is due to accumulation of atheromatous plaques in the coronary vessel walls. The authors report a case of sudden death in 17 year old male due to coronary artery disease. The deceased had a fall from scooter due to disbalancing. The boy had regular complaint of acidity and heart burn. The autopsy revealed Left anterior descending artery was 50% blocked, left circumflex coronary artery was 80% blocked. It may also suggest requirement of careful examination of patients with heart burn and acidity. This report is being published for awareness that now CAD can occur in younger age group.
