Abstract

It was endeavoured in the present study to establish sexual identity of human hip bones from Washburn Ischia-pubic Index. Sexual identity with an accuracy of 99.75% was achieved utilising ‘Demarking Point’ Method. Two hundred human hip bones (120 males & 80 females) of known sex were examined. Results were highly significant as more than 50% of male and 40% of female hip bones acould be accurately identified. Study also revealed highly significant ‘t’ and ‘p’ values.
