Investigation of the activity of the cholinesterase was carried out upon the farmers located in rive areas, where the collection of samples of farmers was randomized.
In the 30 farmers taken as samples, it was detected that 66% of them were intoxicated, while the other 34% were not.
It was observed that the decline of the activity of cholinesterase is influenced by the duration of the contact with the organophosphate, the longer the duration of contact the lower is the activity of the cholinesterase, and it was found that if frequency of contact is higher or equivalent to 1200 times, manifestation of intoxication could be detected.
