The primary task of medico-legal death estimation is the reliable estimation of the time since death1. On the basis of postmortem changes2–22. Under influence of different factors. This study was performed to know the postmortem interval with the early postmortem changes appears in lip with what effect appear over the lips during the passage of time with presence of all external and internal factor. The softness assessed by the compression of the lips by the finger and lusterness, moistness and color of lip were observed. Color, softness, lusterness, moistness feature of lips tested in study. In all 66 cases, lips does not shows color, luster, moistness and softness of lips after death within postmortem interval of 03 to 24 hours during presence of factor like age, sex, built, season, minimum to maximum temperature, humidity, cause, mode and manner of death. Dead body shows dullness, lusterless, hardness and dryness of skin within 03 to 24 hours postmortem interval in relation to external and internal factor.
