Facial features are highly diverse and population specific, especially the profiles of the lips, nose and chin. Evaluating nasal morphology is beneficial in anthropological research, particularly to differentiate ancestry, sexual dimorphism and age. This research is carried out on three major races, Malay, Chinese and Indian, in Selangor to investigate their differences in nasal morphology. The sample comprised of 210 Malaysian residing in Selangor, ages ranged between 18 to 77. The data was collected based on 11 nasal measurements using a digital Vernier caliper. Data was analysed to identify the statistical difference of race, sexual dimorphism and age from the measured nasal. The mean values between the three major races in Selangor are statistically significantly (P<0.001) as well as the mean values of nasal morphology for sexual dimorphism (P< 0.001). Nasal length and width showed an increase of 0.05mm as the age group increased. Thus, nasal morphology has shown statistical significance to be used to differentiate ancestry, sexual dimorphism and age in Selangor population.
