Abstract

Anti-forensic using binary algorithm is an application developed to wipe data completely from the hard disk. Nowadays, not every data that being deleted from a computer is permanently safe from attacks on confidentiality. Common data deletion method only removes file names from a directory list and makes the sectors the files occupy on the hard drive available for future use. To positively prevent data from recovery, disks can be removed from disk drives and broken up, or even ground to microscopic pieces. But the question remains "how many individuals will go to this length to destroy data from their personal computers before donating them? In this project, user simply need to register their account and login to this application. User need to select file from the hard disk that need to be overwritten. Besides that, this application can overwrite multiple files using multiple algorithm at a time. Once file has been overwritten a report log will be send to the email used to register the account. This software can prevent the leak of confidential information even after the hard disk is thrown away. By using algorithms that overwrite the hard disk information cannot be retrieved even with the help of Forensic tools. This proves as a method that secures the confidentiality of the user. Apart from that this software also prevents the destruction the hard disk and enables it to be reused.
