Dactylography refers to the scientific study of fingerprints as a method of identification. It deals with scientific interest and practical value concerning the lineations in the skin on the fingers and toes of human beings for identification. Worldwide study has been done on types of finger patterns found. Our study aims to find the reliability of fingerprinting system using eight point matching scale.
