Assessment of sex in human skeletal remains an important component of many anthropological investigations. Bones of pelvis play an important role in sex determination. A Descriptive Observational Cross-sectional study of total 110 sacrum bones was carried out and studied for multiple indices and parameters during the period of January 2016 to June 2017. Bones were collected from five medical colleges of Jaipur city including NIMS Medical college; being the place of study. Results showed indexes like the sacral index, corporo-basal index, longitudinal curvature index and alar index are highly significant and index of body of S1 and auricular index are not significant. Among various measurements MVSL, MVCL, Length of ala are highly significant and APD of S1 is significant and VSB, TD Base and length of auricular surface are not significant. Hence to identify sex of sacrum, maximum number of parameters should be considered to attain greater accuracy.
